About Youthika Connect
Founded by: Palak Gaurav (CEO & Founder)
Co-founders: Nidhi (CCO), Aditi (COO), and Haritha (CRO)
Team: Entirely youth under 18
Founded in: 2024
Base: Hyderabad, India
Goal: Bridging the intergenerational gap between youth and senior citizens.
Focus: Connecting with all seniors, whether abandoned or living with families, to ensure they receive care, attention, and love.
Long-Term Vision: Launch and amplify elderly healthcare and set up “Youthika Hubs” where seniors are treated with warmth, liveliness, and dignity.
Our Journey So Far
Till now, we’ve conducted two heartfelt sessions:
- Rainbow Vistas Society – We handed out roses to senior citizens and spent time listening to their stories. Through simple conversations, we realized that neglect can exist even within families — love and attention are sometimes missing even when physical care is present.
- Sahaya Old Age Home – We met and interacted with nearly a hundred elders. While distributing blankets, several seniors tried to return them after photographs, thinking the gifts were only props. That moment revealed the depth of their emotional wounds — how years of neglect had made them doubt acts of kindness.
And that’s what Youthika stands for — to heal that hurt, rebuild faith, and make seniors believe in youth again.
Our Mission
- To restore dignity, connection, and joy to the lives of senior citizens — one shared moment at a time.
- To build genuine bonds through storytelling, wellness activities, and simply listening.
- In a world where elders are often forgotten, we remind them that they are not alone and that their wisdom still matters.
Our Vision
- To create Youthika Hubs — secure, lively spaces where the knowledge of the elderly meets the kindness of youth. Where elders feel young, not old!
- To fund elderly healthcare, amplify their unheard stories, and spread nationwide awareness about the silent neglect they face.
- To make growing old not a burden, but a beautiful, respected journey.
What Sets Us Apart
We don’t do mere entertainment — no Tambola, music, or dances.
Our team is united by a “heart-first, hands-on approach.”
Our Method: One-on-one human connection. Youth volunteers form pairs, sit, and talk with seniors.
We have adaptable programs ranging from one-time events to six-month commitments, allowing teens to develop long-term connections and lead with purpose.
Belief: Our elders hold the most wisdom, and the youth must be the ones to listen, learn, and reconnect with that legacy.
Connecting with senior citizens not only builds a sense of care and empathy in youth but also grounds us and makes us aware of our reality.
Our Timeline
2024 – A Calling from Within
Youthika was born from the belief that young people, united by compassion, can create meaningful change. Palak envisioned youth extending care, respect, and companionship to the elderly, especially in old age homes. She shared this vision with Nidhi, Aditi, and Haritha, and a shared mission was born.
