Bridging Generations, One Conversation at a Time

At Youthika Connect, we believe that meaningful conversations have the power to bridge generations. Our signature event, Phoolon Pe Charcha, beautifully brought this vision to life in an interactive session held at Rainbow Vistas, a vibrant senior living community.

🌹 A Rose to Start the Conversation

True to its name, the event began with a simple yet heartfelt gesture — a rose flower.
Each senior citizen was presented with a fresh rose as a conversation starter.
This small token opened the door to warm smiles, curious minds, and nostalgic storytelling.

Our teenage volunteers sat beside them, engaging in thoughtful and playful conversations designed to spark joy and memories.

🎲 Rekindling Childhood Memories

We asked questions like:

"What was your favourite game growing up?"

We received delightful answers — kabaddi, kho-kho, hopscotch, and more.
One senior fondly recalled how she saved coins in a mud piggy bank and used them to buy her favourite sweets and snacks.

🍲 The Flavours of the Past

Another question,

"What food do you miss the most from your childhood?"

This brought out tales of:

• Homemade mango pickles
• Tamarind sweets
• Grandmother’s signature recipes, now long forgotten

🎶 Present-Day Joys

We also explored their current interests:

"What do you enjoy doing in your free time?"

The responses ranged from:

• Gardening
• Watching TV serials
• Bhajan singing
• Cooking

💬 A Flower, A Story, A Bond

What started as a conversation over a rose turned into a celebration of memories, laughter, and heartfelt connection.
It was not just a visit—it was an exchange of stories, values, and wisdom, where young hearts listened, and older hearts bloomed.
