Warmth, Wisdom, and Wonderful Connections

At Youthika Connect, our mission is to bridge the gap between generations by creating meaningful interactions between teenagers and senior citizens.

One of our recent initiatives took us to Sahaya Old Age Home, where we organized a heartfelt event that left a lasting impression — not only on the elderly residents but also on our young volunteers.

🤝 A Warm Welcome

The atmosphere at Sahaya was filled with warmth, joy, and a genuine sense of connection from the moment we stepped in.

The senior citizens welcomed us with open hearts, and their smiles lit up the room.
What began as a simple visit soon turned into a day full of shared stories, laughter, and emotional moments.

🧣 Blankets, Buttermilk, and Bonding

As part of the event:

• We distributed soft, warm blankets to the elderly residents — a small gesture to offer comfort and care.
• We served refreshing buttermilk and an assortment of snacks, encouraging relaxed conversation and joyful bonding.
